Game developer Santa Monica Studio just announced that a new PlayStation 5 patch for popular video game God of War 2018 will be released tomorrow.

According to the studio, they were happy that a lot of fans and newcomers have enjoyed the game on PS5 with backwards compatibility. To make the experience a lot better, they have been working on a new patch.

This new patch will greatly improve the visuals to fully take advantage of the capabilities of the PS5. They worked on a video graphics mode that will enable players to gain access to some of the best features of the new gen console

On February 2, players will get the free patch that will replace the current video graphics mode option with a new default setting. It will offer the best of both performance and resolution for PS5 players.

    ENHANCED PERFORMANCE EXPERIENCE

    • Syncs to 60 FPS
    • 4K Checkerboard Resolution
    • 2160p

For players who want the original look, they can just go back to the Favor Resolution video graphics mode at any time by selecting the Original Performance Experience. It will offer 4K Checkerboard Resolution synced to 30fps.

God of War 2018 is now available on PlayStation 4 and backwards compatible with the PS5.
