It was recently revealed that game company WB Games will be presenting Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad at the DC Fandome 2021 event.
Two new online posts were recently dropped revealing a poster and a launch trailer for the upcoming DC Fandome 2021 event. This will be a digital showcase that will be shown on Saturday, October 15, 2021 starting at 10 am PT/ 6 PM BST.
The launch trailer includes all of the shows, movies, and games that will be presented during the event like the upcoming Batman movie, Black Adamn, Shazam, and more. The games present in the poster and trailer were Rocksteady Studios’ Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and WB Games Montreal’s Gotham Knights.
Since their first debut last year at the DC Fandome event, no word from both games have been heard ever since. Gotham Knights did update everyone that it was going to be officially delayed into March 2022. Suicide Squad has not made any public appearance though.
Gotham Knights will be a story about the Batman family but it will be a world where Batman (Bruce Wayne) is now dead. It is now up to Batgirl, Red Hood, Robin, and Nightwing to guard Gotham City from any dangers.
Suicide Squad will be about the usual members: Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, and King Shark trying to kill their newest target, the seemingly controlled Superman and the rest of the Justice League. Rocksteady Studios described the game as an action-adventure shooter that can be played solo or multiplayer online co-op.
