    Gundam Breaker 4 Announces Open Beta Test

    With only 1 month left until the release of one of Bandai’s most highly anticipated games, Gundam Breaker 4 has revealed a new trailer that shows new gameplay and more. At the end of the trailer, it announces exciting news for players that will shake their core.

    On the official Bandai Namco YouTube channel, a new Gundam Breaker 4 Gameplay features numerous key elements that players will love once the game comes out. Among them, gathering parts from clearing missions, fighting off MEGA-SIZE Gundam Units and Bosses freely resizing the parts they collect, and creating their own custom GUNPLA will also be available.

    At the end of the trailer, Bandai Namco announced to all Gundam fans that there will be an Open Beta Test starting on July 18 – 20. The test will be available only for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 players. There was no mention of a PC test.

    Players engaging in this test can customize their own Gunpla creation from a selection of over 20 Mobile suits. There will be over 250 that will be available in the game at launch. They will be able to take their creations into three-player co-op matches with friends and other players against waves of other custom Gunpla and giant mobile suits. In addition, this installment will allow players to show off custom Gundam units in the multiplayer lobby, which is a first for the series.

    The GUNDAM BREAKER 4 sessions are scheduled as follows:

    • July 17, 9 p.m. PDT: Pre-download begins for PlayStation and Nintendo Switch consoles
    • July 18, 5 p.m. PDT – 10 p.m. PDT: ONT available
    • July 18, 10 p.m. PDT: 4-hour Maintenance; ONT unavailable
    • July 19, 2 a.m. PDT – 7 a.m. PDT: ONT available
    • July 19, 7 p.m. PDT – July 20, 11 p.m. PDT: ONT available 

    Gundam Breaker 4 will be released on August 29, 2024, for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC (via Steam). Players can pre-order the game digitally as it comes in standard, deluxe, and even ultimate editions. Those who ordered the physical edition of the game will receive the following bonuses and freebies:

    • Physical copy of the game
    • Exclusive 11×17″ Poster of Gunbarrel Strike Gundam
    • Early Access to RX78-02 ECO-PLA DLC
    • Early Access to Builder’s Parts
