Halo Infinite Streets Map for Multiplayer Revealed

343 Industries has recently introduced the Halo Infinite Streets map for multiplayer mode.

The brand-new Arena multiplayer map called Streets was first tested out by media outlet IGN and they have coverage of it in a new gameplay video. According to them, the map is a small, asymmetrical battleground that is set in New Mombasa at night. This is quite different from the recent Halo Infinite multiplayer maps that were introduced before. It has some interesting features that many fans can spot like the Holodog advertisement, the retro-style Halo Infinite arcade cabinet, glass railings that can be smashed through easily, and many more.

Lead Multiplayer Designer Andrew Witts shared some interesting tidbits about the multiplayer maps they worked on. They were asked if they were going to be doing any remakes of classic maps since it has become a Halo tradition of sorts. He revealed the Big Team Battle Map Fragmentation is the one map that they wanted to do, which was to make something new, but also a bit reminiscent to the classics. It was also revealed that Valhalla and its remake Ragnarok were inspirations for Fragmentation.

It was also revealed that they are going to make at least two more Big Team Battle maps called Deadlock and High Power.

Halo Infinite launches December 8, 2021 on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
