    Halo returns to PC?

Halo on PC has been every gamer’s wish ever since Halo 2. However, with 343 Industries announcing the release of Forge – Halo 5: Guardians Edition ( see full story here ), which if you read some of the comments its quite clear that some players weren’t so thrilled, we still can’t help but take this as a hint for Halo to return to the PC.

Perhaps what gets us pumped up and hoping for this hint is because of the said strategy by Microsoft, codenamed “Project Helix”. According to a report from Kotaku (see it right here ), Project Helix is Microsoft’s strategy which plans to converge Xbox and Windows. For a while now Microsoft has been clear that they want their two prestige brands to work together, as they’ve announced big new exclusives like Halo Wars 2 and Sea of Thieves for both Xbox One and PC. Developer sources have told us that Microsoft’s new mandate is to release future games–including the flagship Halo series–on both platforms. The recently-cancelled Fable Legends, which was playable across Windows 10 and Xbox One, was one of the first games to implement this strategy.

This comes as further confirmation of Microsoft’s new trend in regards to Windows PC gaming support. Pretty much every major game published by Microsoft Game Studios is already scheduled to launch on both Windows 10 and Xbox One, with the current exception of Gears of War 4 (which is however very likely) and Crackdown 3. With all these happening, it would only make sense that people would continuously hope and hint at Halo’s glorious return to the PC.

Are these hints merely hints based from bits and pieces of information? Maybe we will get a solid confirmation from Microsoft and 343 during  E3 2016 and Gamescom 2016.
