How to Find and Kill Bile Spewers in Helldivers 2

“Bile Spewers” are hazardous Terminids in Helldivers 2, known for their lethal bile attacks and significant impact on missions. These enemies can be challenging, but with the right approach, taking them down becomes a rewarding task. This guide will provide you with all the information you need on locating and effectively killing Bile Spewers.

What do Bile Spewers look like in Helldivers 2?

What do Bile Spewers look like in Helldivers 2

Similar to Nursing Spewers (brown), Bile Spewers in Helldivers 2 have bloated bodies that emit a green glow. Their most recognizable feature is their ability to shoot up a green bile, which serves as a visual cue for players to identify and avoid their lethal attack. This bile is not only a signature attack, but also serves as a visual hallmark of their presence, hinting at their toxic nature and the danger they pose to Helldivers.

Where to Find a Bile Spewer in Helldivers 2

The best way to find Bile Spewers is on the planet Turing, specifically on Medium Difficulty missions. The appearance of Bile Spewers is not restricted to any single Terminid planet, but rather, they have a chance to emerge on any planet within Terminid-controlled zones. However, their presence is more likely during missions that are set at medium difficulty or higher. This means players must progress beyond the initial, easier levels (Trivial and Easy) and engage in more challenging missions to start encountering Bile Spewers in their gameplay.

Alternatively, the planets within the Terminid regions, such as Erata Prime, Fenrir III, Meridia, and the Umlaut Sector, have been noted as locations where Bile Spewers can be found.

How to Kill Bile Spewers in Helldivers 2

The Bile Spewers (green) are a much harder version to deal with than brown nursing spewers. They don’t carry a brown fog with them, but their face, which is considered a weak point, is pretty hard to hit. The belly of a Bile Spewer takes a lot of damage, so in the event you’re up against one or a group, it’s best to use explosive stratagems like Eagle Airstrike and Orbital Precision Strike, or even just grenades. Additionally, we recommend shooting them with a railgun directly to the head for an instant kill.
