How to get boosters in Helldivers 2

Boosters are passive perks in Helldivers 2 that offer various benefits to both you and your fellow squad divers. This feature in the game encourages players to enhance their overall effectiveness on missions, but it seems that not many players are using it. Passive buffs from boosters are not to be missed, and this guide will give you a rundown on how to get and use them efficiently in Helldivers 2.

How to Get Boosters in Helldivers 2

Purchase Boosters in Warbonds Helldivers 2

Boosters can be bought using medals from “Helldivers Mobilise” and
“Steeled Veterans” Warbonds in the Acquisition Centre Menu of Helldivers 2.
The game currently only has seven boosters readily available. Despite the price difference, each of them is strategically equal; the choice is ultimately down to the divers, the mission’s environment, and the varying difficulty levels.

Here are all the boosters currently available to obtain and use in Helldivers 2:

    • Hellpod Space Optimisation: can be obtained from Helldivers Mobilise Warbond for 15 medals. Helldivers come out of the Hellpod fully stocked on Ammo, Grenades, and Stims.
    • Vitality Enhancement: can be obtained from Helldivers Mobilise Warbond for 20 medals. Allows all Helldivers to resist injury.
    • UAV Recon Boost: can be obtained from Helldivers Mobilise Warbond for 40 medals. Increases all Helldivers’ effective radar range.
    • Muscle Enhancement: can be obtained from Helldivers Mobilise Warbond for 70 medals. Allows Helldivers to traverse difficult terrain with ease.
    • Stamina Enhancement: can be obtained from Helldivers Mobilise Warbond for 75 medals. Increases all Helldivers’ stamina capacity and recovery.
    • Increased Reinforcement Budget: can be obtained from Helldivers Mobilise Warbond for 150 medals. Increases the number of available reinforcements.
    • Flexible Reinforcement Budget: can be obtained from Steeled Veterans Premium Warbond for 75 medals. Reduces time until new reinforcements are granted once they’ve been depleted.

How to Use Boosters in Helldivers 2

Equip Boosters in Loadout Helldivers 2

Helldivers can pre-select Boosters in the Loadout Menu before deploying on a mission. Get into the Hellpod, choose your drop zone, and then select a booster from the hexagon slot beside your Stratagems loadout.

Each Booster is unique, and effects from the same Booster do not stack if selected by multiple squad divers. Contrary to some players’ assumptions that Boosters might be consumable or temporary, they are, in fact, infinitely reusable once purchased. If you have boosters that can benefit the entire squad, consider using them in coordinated efforts to overcome difficult objectives.
