Fruit Wine is a curative in Dragon’s Dogma 2 which is not as useful the way it is, but it can be a reagent for a Newt Liqueur which is a key item in unlocking the Warfarer vocation. Read ahead as we go through the steps on how to create Fruit Wine in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

Fruit Wine can be obtained as a gift from Sven in Vernworth, or Captain Brant, also in Vernworth, or from Fyodor in Bakbattahl. Alternatively, you can also steal it from them. Another way to obtain some Fruit Wine is to buy some at Higgs’s Tavern Stand in Bakbattahl for 1,500 G a bottle.

Ezekiel sells Fruit Wine at Higgs's Tavern Stand in Bakbattahl - Dragon's Dogma 2
Ezekiel is the NPC who sells Fruit Wine at Higgs’s Tavern Stand in Bakbattahl

To get inside Higgs’s Tavern, you need to have a beastren character or wear a beastren mask if your character is human. If you don’t have a mask yet, you can buy one at Ibrahim’s Scrap Shop in Checkpoint Rest Town. Then, head to the Higgs’s Tavern Stand and look for a small pen near its entrance. Put on the mask, then grab one of the bags beside the pen and place the stack inside the pen. An NPC nearby will see what you did and you will be transported inside the tavern stand. Inside the tavern stand is where you will meet Ezekiel who sells Fruit Wine and some Newt Liqueur.

Fruit Wine Uses in Dragon’s Dogma 2

Fruit Wine is mainly used to craft Newt Liqueur. Mix Fruit Wine with a Saurian Tail and you will get a bottle of Newt Liqueur. Newt Liqueur is a key item that Lamond needs during The Sotted Sage quest. After giving Lamond three bottles of the New Liqueur, you will unlock the Warfarer vocation. You should be able to buy bottles from Ezekiel, but in case you are short on money, you can always substitute by crafting some using Fruit Wine.

Can you craft Fruit Wine in Dragon’s Dogma 2?

No, you cannot craft fruit wine in Dragon’s Dogma 2. The only way to get fruit wine is to buy it from Ezekiel, get it as a gift or reward from doing quests, or by stealing it from the NPCs mentioned above who has it.
