Hyper Scape Getting Its Servers Shut Down in April 2022 After Rough Run

It was a short run.

After a rough run with this free-to-play battle royale, Hyper Scape is getting its server plug pulled by Ubisoft this year.

Ubisoft made a tough call today and decided it was finally time to stop the development of forgotten battle royale and is planning to shut down servers on April 28, 2022. Players will have to take this chance and enjoy everything until they will not be able to log into the servers.

“We have made the difficult decision to end development of Hyper Scape and shut the game down as of April 28th. We set out to create a vertical, close-quarters, and fast-paced shooter experience and we are extremely grateful to our community for joining us on our journey. We will be taking key learnings from this game into future products,” said Ubisoft.

The game developer thanked the Hyper Scape community for the continued support and will cherish their dedication. Unfortunately, it seems there will be no compensation for that.

Sad to see a game go, but after a bare gaming audience, it is better to close the curtains early rather than waste resources for this game. Goodbye, Hyper Scape.
