In the latest update for Hitman 2, game developer IO Interactive teased what is next for the popular franchise.
IO Interactive plans for next Hitman installment
There will be more content for Hitman 2, but the game developers are certainly working on the next Hitman title, which could be Hitman 3.
At the end of the Hitman 2 November update post, the developers note of their plans for the future. This means that the dev team is now slowly transitioning to the series’ next big project. They are slowly transferring members of the second title to the next one, which is well underway according to them.
This meant that the next title is now in development, but there is no way to tell at what part they are right now. At least everyone knows that there will definitely be a new title coming in the future.
Hitman 2 is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
