After the report of problems not getting updated, tech company Google has finally issued a new patch to fix video game Journey to the Savage Planet on Stadia.
It was first reported that Google was trying to fix the game after the gaming community complained. There were some bugs that made the game freeze at the main menu, which made it impossible to play.
Reddit user Lordubuntu contacted the company for some answers and revealed they were working with 505 Games to resolve them. After a while, he was asked to contact the publisher instead.
505 Games customer support revealed that there was nothing they could do since all game code and data on Stadia is owned by Google. It was impossible to locally fix the issue.
A little while later, it was revealed Google has finally resolved it. It took a while for them to get it done after several complaints.
Media outlet VG247 also shared that they got contacted by Google that their first party studios, including Typhoon, are still employed by them for the time being. Typhoon is the studio behind Journey to the Savage Planet.
Thanks VG247!
