According to a recent report, staff member and veteran of Kojima Productions Kenichiro Imaizumi has left the company.
Kojima Productions vet leaves
According to the VGC report, Kenichiro has been at Kojima Productions for nearly 20 years. Now he has left it for reasons unclear. One of VGC’s sources has claimed that it was due to a disagreement with Kojima Productions’ other directors.
The studio or Kenichiro has not made any comment. Maybe there will be an official announcement later on.
Imaizumi has worked on every Metal Gear game since the release of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. He was the producer on Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain, and the latest release Death Stranding.
