Warner Bros. Games and DC have officially announced LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, set to launch worldwide on May 29, 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Pre-orders for both the Standard and Deluxe Editions are now available on all platforms.
The announcement was made during The Game Awards, where fans were treated to a new Heroes & Villains trailer introduced by a special guest, LEGO Batman, appearing live from the Batcave. The trailer offered a first look at gameplay, showcasing several playable heroes and villains from across the DC universe.
Players will once again step into the boots of the Dark Knight, joined by familiar allies including Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, and Catwoman, each equipped with unique abilities, gadgets, progression trees, and combat styles. The trailer also confirmed a lineup of iconic DC Super-Villains, such as Two-Face, Poison Ivy, Firefly, and Mr. Freeze, alongside heavy hitters like The Joker, The Penguin, Ra’s al Ghul, and Bane.
The game features an open-world Gotham City, with drivable vehicles including the Batmobile from Batman: The Animated Series and the Batpod from The Dark Knight trilogy, allowing players to traverse the city in classic LEGO fashion.
