Lies of P: All P-Organ Upgrades

P-Organ Upgrades are upgrades that can be unlocked to help P become stronger in Lies of P. Learning how to unlock them and which ones to pick will allow P to keep up with the challenges that loom within Krat.

Read ahead as we talk about how the P-Organ Upgrade system works in Lies of P.

    What are P-Organ Upgrades?

    P-Organ Upgrades Lies of P

P-Organ Upgrades are buffs and abilities that can be activated within P’s P-Organ in order to make him stronger in many aspects. The buffs range from increasing attack power to improving perfect guard capability, while the abilities usually improve utilities or unlock special moves.

Each buff can be unlocked by using a quartz over the chair inside Geppetto’s Study at Hotel Krat. To activate abilities, a certain number of buffs should be slotted under them.

How the P-Organ upgrade system works

P-Organ upgrade system Lies of P

The P-Organ is divided into phases, from Phase 1 to 5 in the first playthrough, then Phases 6 and 7 are unlocked in the second and third playthroughs, respectively.

Each phase has four varying abilities, and each of these abilities can be unlocked once enough buffs have been slotted on them. The number of buffs required to activate an upgrade increases as the phase goes higher.

Buffs are listed in four categories: attack, survival, ability, and item. When unlocking an upgrade, only one buff from a category can be slotted in; two or more buffs from the same category cannot be slotted into one upgrade, regardless of whether they are on different tiers.

To unlock the next phase, two abilities from the current phase must first be activated. New buffs will also be unlocked once the next phase is unlocked. Abilities in higher phases can still be slotted with buffs from lower tiers.

P-Organ upgrades and buffs can also be respecced over at the Saintess of Mercy Statue in the Grand Exhibition.

    All P-Organ Upgrades

There are a total of 28 upgrades, equally distributed in each of the 7 phases. Each upgrade requires a number of buffs to be slotted under them before they can be activated.

    • Upgrades in Phase 1 and 2 – 2 Quartz each
    • Upgrades in Phase 3 and 4 – 3 Quartz each
    • Upgrades in Phase 5, 6, and 7 – 4 Quartz each

There are only 28 quartz that can be collected in a playthrough, so slotting in all of the buffs into upgrades will require several NG+ playthroughs.
