Bungie has revealed its newest game in more than a decade called Marathon.
Bungie has recently announced Marathon, a sci-fi PvP extraction shooter. Players will be engaging with one another as cybernetic mercenaries called Runners, exploring a lost colony on the planet of Tau Ceit IV to search for riches, fame, and infamy.
For players who have already heard of the title in their younger years, yes, this is similar to the original game from 1994, but this one is a whole new game. Game Director Christopher Barrett did say that they honored the original by having the same mythology and themes. Actually, they have the same universe lore, but at the same time, different from each other.
Marathon is currently in development for PS5 and PC with full cross-play and cross-save.
