Game developer Crystal Dynamics has officially confirmed that the Spider-Man PlayStation exclusive content for Marvel’s Avengers is getting delayed.
Media outlet IGN spoke with Crystal Dynamics Head of Studio Scot Amos recently about the new 2021 roadmap and asked why there was no mention of the Spider-Man content. He gave this statement:
I can tell you that, formally, officially, people are working on him right now. So it is still on our roadmap for the future.
Amos then clarified that Spider-Man will be released after Black Panther. He reiterated that there are people working on him and they are still fully expecting the character to come to PlayStation consoles. He did not share any specific date for the content’s release, but at least that’s official.
Marvel’s Avengers is now available on PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
