Game studio Firaxis has officially announced their newest video game called Marvel’s Midnight Suns.
After several rumors surrounding this mysterious game made by Firaxis and that it would be a tactical RPG but with a theme from Marvel, it has been officially confirmed. The game studio announced the big reveal recently during Gamescom 2021 Opening Night Live.
This new tactical RPG will be released in March 2022. This will include characters from different teams specifically The Avengers and X-Men. There are also other Marvel characters added to the mix. Basing from the trailer, it seems the characters involved are Iron Man, Wolverine, Blade, Ghost Rider, Captain America, Dr. Strange, Captain Marvel, Sister Grimm, and others. The protagonist that can be customized is named The Hunter.
The game will have a big villain named Lilith, the Mother of Demons. It seems this will follow the story of the “Rise of the Midnight Sons” with Blade, Doctor Strange, and Ghost Rider present. The only one missing from the roster is Moon Knight for some reason.
There is also a promo for those who will sign-up at the official website of Midnight Suns where they can get an exclusive Blade Nightstalker Skin. They will need to have a copy of the game first and a 2K account to claim this later.
A gameplay trailer reveal will be released on September 1, 2021. Marvel’s Midnight Suns will be available on PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
