Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Leaked Release Window Confirmed by Reputable Industry Insider

Is this actual confirmation for a release window?

A previous slip-up by a voice actor from the upcoming video game Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 might have just been confirmed today with an industry insider’s statement.

Last month, voice actor Tony Toddy who plays Venom in the upcoming Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 let it slip that the game will be launching sometime in September 2023. Many fans agreed that this is probably Sony’s answer to Microsoft’s upcoming console exclusive Starfield, also launching in the same month. Today, it seems a popular industry personality has also agreed to the same release window.

Reputable game industry insider and Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier was recently talking about the launch delay of Rocksteady Studio’s Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League and the factors that affected it. It seems the game was delayed due to certain games coming out on its initial launch date and that is when he revealed that Spider-Man 2’s launch in September 2023 could be a factor too for Rocksteady Studio to push it to February 2024 instead.

The reporter did not explain further, but the reply seems to be that he is confident that it would launch that month. Schreier is well known in the gaming industry and has revealed correct information about games in the past so his statements can be trusted.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be exclusive to PS5.
