Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Suit Tech upgrades are supplemental improvements to your already available skills and moves. You can consider them passive upgrades that increase everything from health to movement speed. In this guide, I’ll tell you everything you need to know about the upgrades: their descriptions, what resources you need to unlock them, and at what level they unlock.
All Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Suit Tech Upgrades
The upgrades are broken up into 4 categories:
The Suit Tech Upgrades are unlocked after completing the “Amends” main storyline mission. Each upgrade consumes any number of the game’s resources, be it tech parts, rare tech parts, or hero tokens. It is worth knowing that branching tech paths need only be purchased once, but only one can be active at a time. You can alternate between the two upgrades at any time.
Health Upgrades
- Amazing Health 1
- Description: Increases health by 10. Maximum health is now 110.
- Cost: 1 Rare Tech Part
- Amazing Health 2
- Description: Increases health by 10. Maximum health is now 120.
- Cost: 170 Tech Parts, 4 Rare Tech Parts
- Confidence Boost (Option 1)
- Description: Slightly heal when performing a Perfect Dodge.
- Cost: 205 Tech Parts, 8 City Tokens
- Rejuvenating Parry (Option 2)
- Description: Slightly heal on successful Parry.
- Cost: 205 Tech Parts, 8 City Tokens
- Spectacular Health 1
- Description: Increase health by 15. Maximum health is now 135.

- Description: Web-Shooter hits heal you slightly.

- Description: Increase health by 20. Maximum health is now 170.

- Description: Increase damage by 10%. Base damage is now 110%.

- Description: Damage dealt to enemies in mid-air is increased.

- Description: Successfully Parrying an enemy attack partially recharges Abilities.

- Description: Increase damage by 10%. Base damage is now 140%.

- Combo King (Option 1)
- Unlocked at Level 21
- Description: Abilities are slightly recharged on every 10th hit of a Combo.

- The Floor is Lava (Option 2)
- Unlocked at Level 21
- Description: Successive Air Attacks increase in damage, up to 50% extra. Resets when landing.

- Unlocked at Level 30
- Description: Increase damage by 15%. Base damage is now 155%.
- Cost: 230 Tech Parts, 8 Hero Tokens

- Description: Increase damage by 15%. Base damage is now 170%.

Focus Upgrades
- Webbed Focus
- Description: Increased Focus gained by attacking webbed up enemies.
- Cost: 170 Tech Parts, 2 City Tokens
- Double Focus
- Description: All an additional Focus Bar. Heal more frequently, or use 2 Focus Bars to perform Finishers on Brute enemies.
- Cost: 170 Tech Parts, 6 Rare Tech Parts
- Focused Strike (Option 1)
- Description: Focus rewarded by Abilities is increased by 10%.
- Cost: 205 Tech Parts, 4 Hero Tokens
- Target Acquisition (Option 2)
- Description: Enemies detected with [R3] Scan are automatically tagged.
- Cost: 205 Tech Parts, 4 Hero Tokens
- Stealth Focus
- Description: Increased Focus gained by performing Stealth Takedowns
- Cost: 210 Tech Parts, 4 City Tokens
- Triple Focus
- Unlocked at Level 14
- Add a third Focus Bar. Increase opportunities for Healing and Finishers.
- Cost: 220 Tech Parts, 8 Rare Tech Parts
- Perfect Sight (Option 1)
- Unlocked at Level 21
- Slows time just before taking an attack at critical health, giving you a chance to Dodge. Can only be used once per encounter.
- Cost: 225 Tech Parts, 8 Hero Tokens
- Eye on Target (Option 2)
- Unlocked at Level 21
- Pressing [R3] Scan in stealth now shows which other enemies can see your current target.
- Cost: 225 Tech Parts, 8 Hero Tokens
- Healing Focus
- Unlocked at Level 30
- Amount healed by using Focus is increased.
- Cost: 230 Tech Parts, 10 City Tokens
- Aerial Focus
- Unlocked at Level 33
- Gain additional Focus when performing Air Attacks.

Traversal Upgrades
- Amazing Wings
- Description: Glide for longer with the Web Wings.
- Cost: 170 Tech Parts, 1 Rare Tech Part
- Amazing Launch
- Description: Add an explosive boost Point launch, propelling you further when you press [x] on landing a Zip To Perch ([L2 ] + [R2]).
- Cost: 170 Tech Parts, 3 City Tokens
- Acrobat (Option 1)
- Description: Point Launch is boosted to maximum power.
- Cost: 205 Tech Parts, 5 City Tokens
- Charged (Option 2)
- Description: Charge Jump and Slingshot Launch send you higher and further, respectively.

- Spectacular Swing
- Description: Swing speed increased.
