A new report states that video game Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered can now be purchased separately on the PlayStation 5.
The remastered version of the original was supposed to be bundled together with the Miles Morales game. According to media outlet Twisted Voxel, players can now purchase and download it separately on the PS5. They can buy this for only $40. No word yet from game developer Insomniac Games or game company Sony Interactive Entertainment if a physical version will be released later on.
For some reason though, owners of the original PlayStation 4 version of the game and its Season Pass cannot get the standalone version of the game on PS5. They only get the original version of the game and not the remaster. They cannot buy it separately and needs to download the original version in the library.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered for the PS5 console is only available as part of the Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition.
This is either an error on SIE’s part or they have not updated the page yet. We will have to wait for them for clarification.
