Microsoft Officially Confirms Not Joining E3 2023

Yep, it's finally confirmed.

Microsoft has now made it official: it will not be joining E3 2023 but it does have some connection to it, somewhat.

The company has officially confirmed that it will not be showing itself on the show floor at E3 this year. It has already announced a few weeks ago that it will be having its own Games Showcase that will take place on June 11, 2023. This is just two days before the start of E3 2023.

E3, however, will be co-hosting Microsoft’s presentation as part of E3 2023 event. It will not just have its own physical booth at the Lost Angeles Convention Center. This is the first time in four years that E3 has come back to the usual location.

“We can’t wait to host our Xbox Games Showcase on June 11 and will share more details later,” Microsoft said in a statement to IGN. “We also look forward to co-streaming our event as part of E3 Digital and will not be on the E3 showfloor.”

Two big games have now officially confirmed it will not join the showcase while the last of the big three has not made a statement yet, but it is most likely it will not join as well.
