Game company CAPCOM has recently released the fourth trailer for upcoming video game Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin.
In this new trailer, it features new information about the narrative. It seems the powerful Rathalos have gone missing, and a lot of them at that. There are also strange pits that are appearing out of nowhere and no one knows why. Also, the protagonist’s Rathalos seem to carry the same power as the strange pits have.
Other details have been revealed as well like the feature called the Rite of Channeling which gives players skills to raise new abilities and attributes for the monster they own. There are eggs that can be discovered around the game in Dens. Players can hatch the eggs in order to gain more powerful monsters.
Each monster has its own different gene. There are a total of 8 genes and each of them have their own strengths and weaknesses. And to make the monsters stronger and their teamwork with their owners better, they need to unlock their skills.
Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin launches on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch on July 9.
