Game Director Daisuke Ichihara, the one behind the popular Monster Hunter World: Iceborne expansion, has left CAPCOM.
Ichihara recently broke the news in a recent interview (Kotaku translated) with Japanese publication CG World. He revealed that he has left the game company and now works for another one, a digital content creator called ILCA or I Love Computer Art for short, in Kyoto.
Ichihara said: “You only live once. I’m a mid-career hire, and with the guidance of myself and others, I really want this young organization to grow.”
The game director has previously directed Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate and worked in the industry for 17 years already.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
