Mortal Kombat 1 Fans Roast Nintendo Switch Version Due to Bad Visuals

Various fans of Mortal Kombat 1 are giving the Nintendo Switch version bad feedback due to its very bad visuals.

Mortal Kombat 1 is now available in all storefronts, but it was released earlier with the early access launch. Fans got early access to the game on all four platforms including on the Nintendo Switch version. It was expected that the Switch version would have downgraded graphics since it is not the same as the PS5 and Xbox Series X, but fans did not expect that it was that really bad that it approached meme status.

Recent posts by fans on Twitter revealed that the character models have super low quality especially with the characters’ eyes. Most of the screenshots show that they are popping out of the eye-sockets and that is not even doing a Fatality yet. It is shown in various cutscenes and character introductions in regular rounds.

Digital Foundry’s John Linneman has an explanation for these hilarious screenshots. “So it’s pretty much an issue with the eyes. They seem to be static and mostly unlit. So even in a dark scene, they’re blazing bright and staring straight ahead. It looks hilarious but seems fixable and I’m confused that it shipped this way.”

It is possible that a future patch will fix this soon, but for now, it looks hilarious and it is a meme goldmine.
