Mortal Kombat 1 is one of the most popular fighting games this year and what better way to celebrate its popularity than waiting for the new DLC story expansion coming out this month? The official launch trailer of the DLC story, Khaos Reigns is out and reveals not only
Mortal Kombat 1 Khaos Reigns is an all-new story expansion for MK1. It will feature a variant of Havik who became a Lord of Time and plans to spread his anarchy across all the timelines. Lord Liu Kang asks for help from various factions to prevent such chaos and destruction and save all the realms.
Aside from the new story mode, 3 new MK characters will debut in the expansion set and be released simultaneously. They are the following:
Included to the roster and will be added soon are these 3 guest characters:
- Ghostface from Scream
- Conan The Barbarian
- T-1000 from Terminator 2: Judgement Day
Also added to Mortal Kombat 1 is a free update that brings back a fan-favorite feature: ANIMALITY. For those who don’t know, this feature transforms the chosen fighters into their animal spirit and brutally finishes off their opponents. This feature will be added for free on the next update of Mortal Kombat 1.
Khaos Reigns will be available on September 24, 2024, for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC (via Steam).
