You may notice that My Friendly Neighborhood has both voice actors for in-game and a live-action sequence. This is because at the beginning of the game, we’re introduced to a disturbing amount of reality TV show before we play as Gordon, who is voiced by Tom Shcalk.
Tom Shcalk is a Youtuber with a penchant for using his voice acting talent to parody characters from famous franchises. Gianni Matragrano, who plays both Curtain in the game and voices the narrator for All About Space in the live action sequence, is also on Youtube and posts videos parodying memes and other popular characters. The game’s main antagonist, Ricky, is played by Arlo, another Youtuber who fittingly plays a blue puppet as he talks about multiple topics on the platform.
If you’ve played Genshin Impact, then you may have heard Blythe Melin’s voice already, who plays Goblette. He played minor roles as NPC quest givers, Jialiang and Jiwani, who are tied to the story quests. Another voice actor, Leo Wiggins, who plays one of the first puppets you meet, Norman, has previously voiced several characters in the Dread X Collections.
