Atlus has accidentally revealed two new Persona titles ahead of their announcements.
After much speculation and false hope from the big fans of Persona, Atlus finally confirmed that there is indeed a new Persona game, but the reveal was not intentional. Two trailers were accidentally released on the official Instagram accounts of the company and now they have spread like wildfire all throughout the interwebs. It has been confirmed that there is the new Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Tactica.
Persona 3 Reload
Persona 3 Reload is the official remake of the original Persona 3 game. It seems to follow faithfully to the original game, but with new visual tweaks and possibly new gameplay content additions. It has been revealed that it will be launching on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. There has been no mention of PlayStation consoles, so it could possibly mean that it will be exclusive first on the Xbox platform for a few months. It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass. It will be available in early 2024.
Persona 5 Tactica
The second game is Persona 5 Tactica, a tactical RPG where the Phantom Thieves have been transported into a new world where tactics is the gameplay. The visuals are chibified and there are new characters to encounter. This title will also launch on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass. It will be available on November, 17, 2023.
These titles might be officially revealed during the Xbox Game Showcase later.
