It seems that after Microsoft’s first-party studio, Lionhead, closed down a year ago, their former boss and Studio Director, Stuart Whyte, has recently joined PlayStation London as the new Director of VR Product Development.

Stuart Whyte is known as one of the key people in the gaming industry. His team at Lionhead Studios developed the critically acclaimed Fable and its sequels. Stuart has been in the industry for almost 25 years. He spent most of his time developing games for Microsoft for 12 years in Lionhead Studios.

“I’m super excited to be joining the London team to lead them further on their journey to becoming the world’s leading AAA, VR Team,” Stuart Whyte told GamesIndustry

With his transfer to PlayStation London as the Director of VR Product Development means we will be getting a taste of more virtual-reality experiences soon.
