Sony Interactive Entertainment has recently revealed the new PlayStation Stars loyalty program.
There is now a new loyalty program for fans to subscribe soon. PlayStation Stars will be free to join when it launches later this year. As soon one becomes a member, they will be able to earn rewards by just completing a variety of activities and campaigns. There is this Monthly Check-in campaign which is quite simple to complete. It only needs players to play any game to receive the reward.
There are other activities that will need other things to do like winning tournaments, earning specific type of trophies, or earn a platinum and be the first one in the region. It all depends on what SIE will be revealing after the big launch.
Members will have many chances of earning loyalty points once the program starts. It can be redeemed in a catalog that will include PSN wallet funds and select PlayStation Store products. PS Plus members that have enrolled in PlayStation Stars will automatically gain points for purchase on the PlayStation Store.
Members can also get a new type of reward called digital collectibles. This will be digital representations of things based from PlayStation’s products and franchises. This will be collectibles based on iconic characters from games and other forms of entertainment, and Sony devices.
PlayStation Stars start later this year.
