The Pokémon Company has recently revealed the new Pokémon Scarlet and Violet the new Ghost Dog Type Pokémon.
The new Ghost Dog type Pokémon is called Greavard. According to the new video, Greavard is an affectionate type of Pokémon that it would follow a player if it is paid attention, even a little. It has a rather nasty side effect, which is its passive ability to slowly and inadvertently absorb the life-force of those around it.
The video starts with the player camping together with other Ghost-type Pokémons and playing ball. The player then notices there is a candle placed in a very out-of-place location, on the ground. It turns out this was Greavard that has buried itself under the ground.
Greavard has various Ghost-type abilities that make it quite a powerful ally in battle. It has Bite and seems to have Dark abilities as well.
For fans who want to get their hands on a Greavard, look on the ground and if you find a ghost-like candle, it is for sure a Greavard under the ground.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet launches on November 18, 2022 exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
