The highly anticipated indie RPG coming to PS Plus Extra and Xbox Game Pass on Day one, Sea of Stars, has finally gone gold.
Sea of Stars Goes Gold
After it got announced to be coming to PS Plus Extra on day one, today the developers have now confirmed that the game has now gone gold. What does that mean? It signifies that it has now completed its development ahead of launch and should be ready to release next month. The only things needed to do now are bug fixes and printing the physical copies if there are any.
“Sea of Stars has gone gold!” said the game’s official Twitter account. “The master build was submitted to certification, meaning the next people to touch the game will be all of you.”
The developers thanked the fans for supporting them throughout the years. “Thanks again for the overwhelming support over the years, we hope you’re looking forward to an exciting adventure!”
Sea of Stars is one of the most anticipated titles recently and has garnered a great following after its first announcement. It will be available on PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S this coming August 29, 2023.
