PlayStation Network is back from the dead. Shuhei Yoshida, the SCE President thanked everyone for their patience and apologized on Twitter.
Things are running smoothly but still no explanation for what happened.

Playstation also tweeted an update to look out for PS Plus subscriptions and video rental extension.
