Ratatan Console Version Officially Confirmed After Clearing Stretch Goal

Ex Rare Composer has also joined up.

Ratatan console version is finally getting greenlit by the developers after it cleared the stretch goal recently.

Ratatan Console Version Stretch Goal Cleared

Patapon spiritual successor Ratatan has recently cleared another stretch goal after it launched on August 1, 2023 and earned its minimum funding target in just over 45 minutes. It first cleared the stretch goal of getting an online mode and now after funding reached over $700,000, the console version stretch goal has been passed.

Console Platforms Planned

According to the campaign FAQ, Ratata Arts stated, “Once we hit the console stretch goal then our plan is to release Ratatan on all current-gen consoles – Xbox Series X, PS5, and Nintendo Switch.”

Stretch Goals Already Cleared

The Kickstarter campaign has cleared other stretch goals like the inclusion of a mini-game, a chiptune version, upgrades to the game’s My Room and Base features, and a goal simply titled ‘fireworks’.

Rare Composer Joins

It was also confirmed that the campaign has also cleared another stretch goal that made it possible to collaborate with David Wise, the former Rare composer who created the music for the Donkey Kong Country series.

There are still other stretch goals that have not been cleared yet like adding a secret ending, and an orchestrated soundtrack.
