Clockwork Castellans are one of the collectibles that players can look for in Resident Evil 4 Remake. They look like miniature versions of Salazar turned into an automaton doll, while finding and destroying all 16 of them will reward you with the Primal Knife and Revolution Wind-up Achievement. Read ahead as we show all of the locations of the Clockwork Castellans in Resident Evil 4 Remake.
To make it easier to locate these Castellans, you can enable the Closed Caption Subtitles as these would make the game let you know if there is one nearby. Most of the time, you will see [mechanical cadence] in the captions which means a Castellan should be within Leon’s earshot.
Clockwork Castellan Chapter 1
Head to the house in the middle of the area right before arriving at the Lakeside Settlement area. Look up the broken ceiling and you’ll see the Castellan just above the wall.
Clockwork Castellan Chapter 2
Look for a shack on the left side on your path to the Village Chief’s Manor. The Castellan will be on your right side as you enter the shack, on top of a bale of hay.
Clockwork Castellan Chapter 3
As you arrive in the Merchant’s shack, go down to the dock and follow the path on the right near the water. At the end of the path are some crates. Look up the gap on the roof and you will see the Castellan on top of the crate.
Clockwork Castellan Chapter 4
Make your way to the Forest Altar north of the Lakeside Settlement; this will require you to obtain the Insignia Key found in the Village Chief’s Manor. Past the sacrificial altar, look over the wooden fence and to the left side, you will see the Castellan a few distance away.
Clockwork Castellan Chapter 5
After getting Ashley, head back to the Village Chief’s Manor where you will find a lever behind a painting that reveals a ladder leading to the attic. Up in the attic, you will find the castellan behind some wooden planks near some hanging bones.
Clockwork Castellan Chapter 6
During the escape from the Villa, you’ll find a bonfire near the next checkpoint. Just at the base of the bonfire is the Castellan.
Clockwork Castellan Chapter 7
Starting from the Dungeon, head north to the middle path and climb the ladder up to the Treasury. Go around the crates and after your third turn, you’ll see the Castellan on top of the shelf where a white cloth is hanging.
Clockwork Castellan Chapter 8
As you arrive in the Castle Battlements, you will trigger the cutscene where you will be chased down by the giant monster. Immediately go to the right and head to the next tower. Climb the ladder on the wall and then go around to the left path until you get to the end where you will see the Castellan.
Clockwork Castellan Chapter 9
Once you arrive at the Courtyard, make your way through the maze until you arrive at the northwestern corner. You will find the Castellan tucked near the wooden palette.
Clockwork Castellan Chapter 10
From the Depths, make your way through the sewers that lead under the Ballroom. Just as you reach the room where the Merchant is, look at the grate on the wall opposite the room. Peek through the grate while trying to look up. You will see the Castellan hanging just above the upper pipe.
Clockwork Castellan Chapter 11
After riding the minecart, you will arrive at the Stopover. Without entering the room, go around the building and on your third turn, look up the building and you will see the Castellan.
Clockwork Castellan Chapter 12
Go inside the Clock Tower and head to the left side until you reach the underside of the stairs. You will find the Castellan on top of a crate.
Clockwork Castellan Chapter 13
Go towards the location where there are shipping crates and trucks. Look for the green forklift and on its right side, you will find the Castellan underneath the truck.
Clockwork Castellan Chapter 14
Starting at the Amber Storeroom, head east then keep turning right on the path until you arrive at a small office. The Castellan is standing on top of some lockers.
Clockwork Castellan Chapter 15
Make your way to the Specimen Storage and into the small room up north. After opening the chest that contains a Splendid Bangle, turn around and look up to the wooden beams on the ceiling to find the Castellan.
Clockwork Castellan Chapter 16
During the final escape from the island after defeating the final boss, make your way through the path ahead past the door with the ambushing enemy. To the right, look for the forklift and look above the crates nearby to find the Castellan.
