Returnal Patch 1.3.3 brought down due to PS5 Save Error

The latest patch of Returnal has caused an error with the PS5 save data. While it isn’t severe as Cyberpunk 2077’s catastrophe, Housemarque’s latest update is causing tons of issues; this time, players are reporting a game-breaking bug that’s related to the PS5 save data.

The Finnish studio removed the patch from PlayStation Network and is currently hard at work to remedy the error of the Returnal PS5 save data. However, players who got the game updated to Patch 1.3.3 will, unfortunately, have to uninstall the game and re-download it again to get revert the version back to pre-1.3.3 update.

Patch 1.3.3 has been pulled and we are reverting back to 1.3.1 until it's fixed.

We are fixing the issue now and a new patch will be published in a few hours

All users affected by the 1.3.3 need to re-download the game.

Returnal is already available on PS5 and we’re still working on a review of the game.
