The developers have now announced that the Returnal PC release date is February 15, 2023. Players can join Selene on Atropos on that day and can play on PC platforms like Epic Games and Steam.
Changes Coming to Returnal PC Version
The post revealed the various additions to the PC version like the NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FSR, which allows players to increase framerate without compromising on resolution. NVIDIA NIS got added too to improve performance for those who do not have the hardware to support DLSS or FSR.
The game also supports ray-traced shadows and added support for RT reflections with the help of Climax Studios. There are two new wide-resolution formats: Ultrawide at 21:9 and Super Ultrawide at 32:9.
Returnal PC System Specs
The PC specs on low settings are not that bad as it only needs GTX 1060 with 6 GB internal RAM or AMD Raden RX 580 with 8 GB ram. RAM is not that demanding too with 16 GB DDR4 and storage size only needs 60 GB HDD with a recommendation of SSD.
Sound and Controller Support
Enjoy the game’s surround sound with headphones that support 3D sound. It supports Dolby Atmos, two 3D audio solutions, and 5.1 and 7.1 surround sound.
Playing the game with a DualSense controller is recommended to enjoy full haptic feedback and adaptive trigger features.
Returnal PC officially launches on February 15, 2023.
