A new report has recently revealed that the PS5 exclusive Returnal might not become an exclusive anymore soon.
Returnal Spotted on SteamDB
According to website SteamDB, there have been sightings of details related to the popular sci-fi roguelike and that includes references to Selene’s ship Helios, Atropos the alien planet, and Tower of Sisyphus DLC. For those who do not know about SteamDB, it is a website that crawls information from PC store Steam. If those references are seen on SteamDB, then that means there is a high chance the game will be available on Steam soon.
Returnal Joins PlayStation Exclusives to PC Lineup
If true, this game will now follow the few PlayStation Studio titles like God of War, Days Gone, and Horizon Zero Dawn. They are now available on both PlayStation consoles and PC platforms.
Just like what Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO Jim Ryan said before, the game company expects to make $300 million on PC games in 2022. This meant more PS exclusives coming to the PC platform.
Housemarque has not made any official announcement yet, so we will have to wait for them to post it on social media.
Returnal is currently available on PS5.
