Game developer Rockstar Games recently took to social media to update the fans of the situation of its staff members and more.

After it was announced that COVID-19 is now starting to spread in some parts of the world, some companies have started to allow their workers to bring their workloads at home and work there remotely in the meantime. Gaming companies also did the same thing and the developers of popular game Red Dead Redemption 2 followed suit.

The gaming studio has started to work remotely in order to prevent getting their developers infected with the COVID-19 virus and staying healthy until it is confirmed it is safe to work in offices again. In a recent Twitter post, it stated that the heads have implemented work from home policies across its international offices and studios.

This happened after the teams from around the world had a meeting and talked about what to do about this situation. This is the solution they thought off and it should definitely work for the time being. Better be safe than sorry. They are also confident that the implemented system for this situation.

The gaming studio also promised that the online games will still continue to run on their servers just like the usual. The support teams will still remain available for the players. Still, its top priority is the safety and health of their employees and their families. When the time comes, they will adapt to any new changes.
