Game developer Ska Studios recently announced that their brutal Souls-like platformer Salt and Sanctuary will be launching on the Nintendo Switch real soon.

Salt and Sanctuary coming next month

Ska Studios revealed that the Nintendo Switch port will be available on Aug. 2. This will mean that interested gamers can get the game just a week from now.

The package will have twenty terrible and difficult bosses, several endings, a New Game+ mode, and special modes like permadeath, no blocking, and no rolling.

    Creators give statement

Co-creators Michelle and James Silva gave a statement along with the announcement:

The two of us wanted to create a Soulslike game that we wanted to play, and finding that so many others who wanted it too warmed our dark little hearts. Bringing Salt and Sanctuary to the Nintendo Switch means more people who like dismal, satisfying games can play our very dismal, satisfying game.

The game will be available on the Nintendo eShop for only $17.99. The Drowned Tome Edition will be launched later this coming Holidays. The game is already available on PlayStation 4, PC, and PlayStation Vita.
