A new leak has recently revealed the Sonic Superstars release date ahead of the official announcement.
Sonic Superstars is based on the classic on the 2D Sonic high-speed action platforming game with beautiful visuals and smooth gameplay. It is a “new spin” on a classic, reimagined with fully 3D graphics, new powers and abilities, an all-new setting, and new ways to play. Players can choose their favorite characters from Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy Rose and take advantage of their unique abilities to explore the Northstar Islands as they race to defeat Dr. Eggman who has teamed up with an old nemesis, Fang.

On the official website, the release window is still Fall 2023. This new leak though might have just revealed the release date.
Leak Reveals Release Date
According to SonicStadium, they found a listing on US retailer Target’s website that says the game’s release date will be October 17, 2023. Another listing has also revealed the same release date on GameStop, which possibly means this could be real.
Sonic Head-to-Head with Mario
If the release date is real, the game will be pitted against the upcoming Mario game, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, which will launch just three days later on October 20, 2023.
Pre-Order Bonuses
The listing on Target revealed that the game’s pre-order bonus is a Lego Eggman in-game character skin. It also includes an acrylic display stand and a reversible game cover.
Nintendo has not made any comment in regard to this new leak.
Sonic Superstars officially launches sometime in Fall 2023 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
