DICE and Electronic Arts (EA) have been slowly tweaking Star Wars Battlefront II‘s credit and progression system. Some players reported over on Facebook that they have been receiving huge amount of credits after ranking up and/or finishing a match. Since then, there has not been any update regarding the changes until now.
EA has officially posted on their official website just over a few hours ago that they have updated the progression and credit/crafting parts distribution. Every end of each round, players will be rewarded even more credits than they were receiving before. Furthermore, they have also increased the daily cap for earning credits in Arcade mode from 500 to 1,500; and lastly, the daily crate will offer more crafting parts.
While it’s a great gesture and direction that EA and DICE are going, players and consumers are still skeptical about the progression system through loot crates. Since microtransactions have been temporarily disabled, people are still furious about them.

The end-of-round payout has been increased. This is an area we agree needed to be buffed a bit, especially when it comes to rewarding players for doing well in-game. We’re upping the number of Credits you get for a match across the board, and specifically bumping the top players on each team by even more.
Earn 3X more Credits daily in Arcade Mode. It’s been made clear that you were hitting the Arcade Mode Credit cap faster than we expected, so we wanted to alleviate that by increasing it to 1500 Credits. While we’re still looking into ways to add more content into it the mode in the long-term, we think that this should help in the near-term for those who want rewards for completing the different scenarios.
Daily Login Crates will now provide more crafting parts than before. You’ll notice the change right away when you log in. Crafting the Star Cards you want will help make sure you’re progressing in the direction you want, and we absolutely want to empower that. This should help you get where you want to go faster when it comes to crafting and upgrading.[/alert]
Along with the update is the upcoming new chapter to be added to its campaign. Star Wars Battlefront II Resurrection will focus more in the first few days of the First Order’s rise to power, and this time, Iden Versio is back in action. Now, the big question is: will they reveal Iden’s daughter in this chapter?
In other news, Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits to theaters next week on December 15. We are all excited!
