Aspyr Media just fired directors causing said delay.

A new report claims that Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic remake development might be in hot water and could be delayed indefinitely.

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic Remake Delay Claim

The report comes from Bloomberg Reporter Jason Schreier, who said that his sources say that the project is now in deep trouble. His sources are people who are very familiar with the possibly delayed project. He revealed that Aspyr Media might have just fired both its art and design directors this month and this has caused them to put the entire project on hold for an indefinite time. They are now looking for new contracts and development opportunities.

Disappointment Ahead

Fans of the original game who are looking forward to the remake will be greatly disappointed if this new report is true. Many have been waiting for this to launch since it was previously revealed way back in 2021 and was confirmed later to be a PS5 exclusive, which give them high expectations since it is going to be a next-gen game. It was expected to launch at some point in 2023, but with two directors of Aspyr Media are out of the picture, its launch is now in question.

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic Remake was planned to be a PS5 exclusive. No confirmed release date yet.

This was the trailer back then that made fans tremble in excitement. It seems that hype will become disappointment soon.
