Starfield Gains New Player Count Milestone in Less Than Three Weeks

A few weeks ago, it was six million players.

Bethesda has recently announced that Starfield has now achieved a new player count milestone after it just reached a certain number a few weeks ago.

According to a recent post on the official Twitter account of Bethesda, Starfield has now achieved over 10 million players in less than three weeks. On September 7, 2023, it already reached six million players and became the biggest launch in Bethesda’s history.

The popular sci-fi RPG is available on PC and Xbox Series X/S consoles plus it was on GamePass on day one. This could have contributed to the current player count since a lot of Xbox fans subscribe to the service to save up and try out games before a full purchase.

Starfield sales have not been announced yet but the concurrent player count on Steam was revealed a few days ago. The player count 10 days ago was 330,723 on Steam and it currently sits in 27th place in in Steam’s all-time list. It has already overtaken Skyrim which is currently in the 31st rank.

Due to its massive popularity, Starfield will continue to gain more players in the coming months so it would not be a surprise if the current number would be doubled later.
