Game company Microsoft has recently released a statement to clarify that Starfield is not going to be released on any PlayStation consoles ever.
Several gamers have been speculating lately that the upcoming and most anticipated new IP of Bethesda, Starfield, will be coming to PlayStation sometime in the future. Even after Microsoft has stated several times that it is going to be an Xbox Series X/S and PC release, some still insist it is going to the other side sooner or later. The game company finally gave a statement recently to end all speculations and rumors.
Xbox GM Aaron Greenberg recently responded on a discussion on a fan community Twitter post to make it clear for everyone. He revealed that there are no plans to release the game on any other console except on Xbox Series X/S or PC. This has finally shut the doors on any PlayStation release with him saying “none of that has or will change”.
Some still cling to hope that it will only be a timed exclusive and one day it will be coming to other platforms in the future. Again, Greenberg made it clear that it will NOT be a timed exclusive and it will still be an Xbox Series X/S and PC game. It will also be arriving on Xbox Game Pass on day one.
Starfield will launch on November 11, 2022 exclusively for PC and Xbox Series X/S.
