Bethesda executive confirms that Starfield official mod support will be happening soon.
According to the Bethesda Development Chief Todd Howard in an interview with Famitsu, he confirmed that the game will get official mod support. It will be made possible sometime next year, 2024. Unfortunately, he did not specify the release date.
Howard did say that it will be coming through the Creation Kit which was available for Fallout 4 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
“Once mods are supported, you’ll be able to do almost anything, just like in our previous games,” Howard said. “Mod support will be available next year, and we love mods too, so we’ll go all-in.”
It was reported that players who like to try out these mods can get to enjoy more content that look wild and wacky in-game. Other mods improve the whole game entirely like DLSS support and the addition of view sliders via a new mod.
Starfield is out now on PC and Xbox Series X/S.
