Publisher XSEED Games has announced that their popular farm/life sim STORY OF SEASONS Pioneers of Olive Town will release on PlayStation 4 sometime this Summer. The game will be in full bloom with HD visuals and the series’ signature charm and will be available as a standard physical edition at the price of $39.99, with details on digital offerings and pricing to be announced at a later date.

STORY OF SEASONS Pioneers of Olive Town is a charming adventure in the original farming simulation series that drops eager explorers in Olive Town, a picturesque seaside community on the edge of the untamed frontier, where they will work to breathe life back into their grandfather’s dilapidated farm.
After taking ownership of the farm and the surrounding fields, they’ll be clearing the land, repairing old facilities, and placing new ones wherever they see fit, leveling up their farming skills and crafting a variety of decorations and facilities, from fences and automatic feeders for livestock to sprinklers for crops!
And though it may be a sleepy burg at first, Olive Town is home to dozens of unique characters to befriend when players are ready to take a break from building their dream farm. Get to know them better through 200 unique events, and don’t forget to participate in local festivals and watch the town come to life.
On top of that, you can find Earth Sprites while exploring your farmland, leading you to mysterious, fantastical lands such as gardens where the seasons never change, an island in the sky, or even the inside of a volcano.
STORY OF SEASONS Pioneers of Olive Town is already available on PC (via Steam) as of September 15th, 2021, and on the Nintendo Switch in North America as of March 23rd, 2021. The title has been rated “E for Everyone” by the ESRB on all platforms.
