In the latest stream of Super Robot Wars Y, the developers revealed new info about the game. Featuring many added features and reviews from numerous game testers, they became pleased with the performance of the demo and are eager to share more exciting news about SRW Y, including the upcoming DLC season pass.
The DLC season pass is one of the biggest content updates to be added to the game and those who are loyal to the Super Robot Wars franchise would like to purchase this big update, as the developers have revealed the following series:
SUPER ROBOT WARS Y DLC PART 1 SERIES
- Galaxy Cyclone Braiger
- In the year 2111, the Solar System has been colonised. The colonies have various criminal organisations running amok. Team Cosmoranger J9 is assembled with Isaac Godonov, Blaster Kid, Steven Bowie, and Angel Omachi fighting the underworld scourge throughout the solar system. With the robot Braiger, they are a mercenary team that will handle any missions the police will not handle. Meanwhile, Earth has been divided into the four Connections of Omega, Red Dragon, Volga and Nubia while the other celestial bodies are divided into the five Connections of Galico (Jupiter), Viking (Mars), Venus, Uranus, and the Weapons Guild (Mercury). Through Khamen Khamen, Nubia hatches a plan to rule the solar system in which Jupiter is destroyed, leading to the creation of over 30 smaller planets that could sustain life. However, such a plan would lead to the destruction of Earth’s inhabitants.

- After failing to negotiate with terrorists at the cost of his client’s life, Roger Smith is obligated to care for Dorothy Wayneright, a young female android. Over the course of the series, Roger Smith continues to accept negotiation work from the residents of Paradigm City, he often leads to uncovering the nature and mystery of Paradigm City and encountering megadeus or other giant enemies that require Big O. Supporting characters are Angel, a mysterious woman in search of memories; Dan Dastun, chief of the military police of Paradigm city and old friend of Roger Smith; and Norman Burg, the butler of Roger Smith and mechanic of Big O.

When the Dopants, monsters who utilize Gaia Memories began to operate in the windy city of Futo, a young Shotaro became Sokichi’s assistant and followed in his footsteps despite being called ‘half-boiled.” Shotaro becomes increasing impatient with Sokichi, who secretly operates on the side as Kamen Rider Skull. Meanwhile the Narumi Detective Office receives a phone call… It is a request from hell that will led Sokichi and his team to a fateful night!! What will Shotaro see as he follows Sokichi whereabouts in order to deliver the “trump card” brought to him by the mysterious client? Shotaro and Philip, the duo detectives who met on the first night they became Kamen Rider Double.
SUPER ROBOT WARS Y DLC PART 2 SERIES
- Steel Jeeg
- Hiroshi Shiba is a young car racer who is mortally wounded. His father Professor Shiba, a talented scientist and archaeologist, manages to restore him to life by means of a powerful relic from the ancient and mysterious Jamatai Kingdom, a bronze bell which is hidden inside Hiroshi’s body and turns him unknowingly into a sort of cyborg. As the ruler of Jamatai, queen Himika, reawakens from her slumber in the underground, it is revealed that the bell is also key to the reconquest of the Earth surface. Her henchmen kill Prof. Shiba in vain pursuit of the artifact, barely leaving the scientist time to upload his thought on a supercomputer at a specially built defense base. Anticipating the hidden menace, Professor Shiba has also prepared a giant fighting robot, Steel Jeeg, composed of interchangeable magnetic limbs and for which Hiroshi Shiba can become head and conscience. His mission is to defend modern Japan from the invaders, who also dispose of similar giant monsters (haniwa) and an army of minions. In such battles, Jeeg is also aided by a robot horse known as Panzeroid, and a fighting jet capable of shooting replacement components and specialized weapons for his body.
- Getter Robo: The Jet Black Drifter
- Getter Noir is an original Getter Robo from an alternate timeline. It is present in the games Super Robot Wars X-Ω and Super Robot Wars DD. Much like Shin Getter Dragon (Daikessen) and Mazin Emperor G, the Getter Noirs are classified as “Dynamic Planning Original Units” in the Super Robot Wars series.
- The Brave Fighter of Legend Da-Garn
- Seiji Takasugi obtained a jewel called “Aurin” which is the earth’s alter ego and it has elected him to be the commander of eight brave robots. The Brave robots are sleeping in many parts of the world as “Brave Stones”. However, they become super robots by fusing with modern people and machines once Seiji awakens them and they soon follow his instructions. Their enemy is Lord Oh-Boss who is an invader who aims at stealing the planet’s energy with the aid of his subordinates that Da-Garn and the other brave robots must stop in order to save the world.
Super Robot War Y will officially be released on August 28, 2025, for the PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Pre-order the game and get amazing bonuses, including new DLC units that appeared in the previous SRW series.
