Tekken 8 Reveals Coffee Lover Peruvian Fighter in New Trailer

A returning "ninja" is also joining the game with stronger ninjutsu skills!

Bandai Namco Entertainment has revealed a new Tekken 8 character that loves coffee and is an MMA fighter from Peru plus the return of the UN secret intelligence agent and ninja.

Tekken 8 Introduces the Coffee Queen of Peru

The first new character is the Coffee Queen, Azucena. She is an MMA fighter from Peru with a unique way of fighting. She is the latest heir in the Ortiz family line, a family running a Peruvian coffee plantation. She has joined The King of Iron Fist Tournament in order to promote the Ortiz Farm to the world.

Azucena would use a movement based on Mixed Martial Arts, while incorporating some slightly unconventional techniques like the Liberador where she shifts into a stance that does not let her block her opponents but dodges their attacks by instinct.

Raven Makes a Comeback

A returning character will be joining the ranks of Tekken 8 roster, the enigmatic “ninja” Raven. After he vanished after the events of Tekken 6 and got replaced by a female version of him in Tekken 7, who is actually his master, Master Raven. He undergoes intensive training and comes back even stronger in Tekken 8 with new ninjutsu moves and powerful strikes. He also has his unique Soul Field stance which gives him a versatile arsenal using clones and teleportation.

Master Raven would be so proud of him now.
