The Quarry Has a Non-Interactive Movie Mode with Three Options

Supermassive Game’s upcoming new title The Quarry has an alternative for players who just wants to relax and watch the whole thing unfold instead of being interactive.

In the latest IGN preview, the developers revealed Movie Mode, which allows players to just watch the whole game’s narrative in one whole linear movie. No more need to interact with the game because they will just press the play button and let the whole story unfold before their eyes.

Movie Mode offers three different options to choose from. These are Everybody Lives, Everybody Dies, and Director’s Chair. The first two options are already obvious from the get-go where the whole cast either lives or dies in the ordeal. The third option, the Director’s Chair, will let players set it up first before pressing the play button. They need to choose a set of situational behaviors for every member of the cast whether they can adapt under pressure, be sympathetic, a coward, and so on. The results will be random and could either make a miraculous result or a disastrous end.

This new Movie Mode could possibly be unlocked after completing the main game for those who just want to see the whole story after experiencing the whole interactive gameplay.

The Quarry launches on June 10, 2022. It will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
