    The Sims 4 Becomes Free to Play Soon

    EA and Maxis have officially announced that The Sims 4 will become free to play soon.

    The Sims 4 Free to Play Date

    According to the developers, they are excited to continue to welcome more players than ever before with this big change. Starting on October 18, 2022, The Sims 4 base game will become available to all new players to download for free on PC via EA app or Origin, Steam, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

    The development team will be more dedicated than ever before to develop new and meaningful experiences for the players with new packs, kits, and Sims Delivery Express drops that they will release in the future. More details about the big change on the launch day with a new event called Behind The Sims Summit. It will be on October 18, 2022 at 10 AM PDT via YouTube and Twitch channels.

    EA Play Perk

    EA Play and EA Play Pro members will get perks with member-only bundles. The Sims 4 EA Play Edition will have The Sims 4 Get to Work Expansion Pack while the EA Play Pro Edition includes The Sims 4 Get To Work Expansion Pack and The Sims 4 Toddler Stuff Pack.

    Thanks for Support

    As thanks for the continued support from fans, players who have purchased the base game can receive the Desert Luxe Kit as a gift starting from September 14 through October 17, 2022. The Desert Luxe Kit includes a modern oasis with luxurious indoor and outdoor furniture.

    The Sims 4 is now available on PC, PS4 PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
